Dental Implant

One of my friends is in another country now to do a dental implant, and his dentist told him that after placing the screw he should wait for 3 months before placing the crown, and he has to come back to the U.S. before 3 months. He wants to know if he can do part of the treatment there and do the rest of it in the U.S.? Do the dentists in the U.S. do that? I really appreciate if you answer this question.

I would guess it would be different for each practitioner. I cannot see any of the dentists that I have worked for being okay with this, GP’s and specialists work together with implants and the final restoration.

Need to now what brand of implant system because I know when placing the abutments that implants use certain tools that tighten the abutment onto the implant. Screw retained crowns are great to use.
