Gross debridement

I recently did an FMX and a gross debridement on a new patient. When I probed, his pockets were at least 4-5 mm. We advised the patient to come back for SRP’s in all 4 quadrants. He is scheduled to start them in 2 weeks. Will the insurance cover the SRP’s so soon after a gross debridement?

I don’t see why not, however that’s something you would want to call the patient’s insurance provider about and ask directly to get a definitive answer.
