Health Insurance benefits

I recently got hired on at a new office that does not offer health insurance. How do you guys obtain healthcare for you and your family if not offered at work? I’ve heard the ADHA offers some plans is this true?

You could go through the ADHA, they have a link on their website, or the other option now with Obamacare you can go through there. I believe many insurance companies have discounted their fees also. We recently got health insurance for our granddaughter and we went through ehealthinsurance.com and got her a policy with blue cross/blue shield for a relatively cheap price. Hope I was helpful!!

We contacted an insurance broker, free to use, who helped find us all the plans out there that fit our needs, and compared them for is. She also was able to give valuable feedback about the quality of Horne companies!

Yes the ADHA offers insurance but I am not sure how affordable it is. Research alot of different companies/plans to be sure you get the right coverage at the right price for you and your family. You can try the healthcare exchange through the government or contact any insurance company for plans to choose from.

I actually took a part time job at Home Depot because of the benefits! It stinks working for crap pay but my hygiene position was cut to part time and along with my hours went my health insurance. I only work one day a week at Home depot but the benefits make the pay/time worth it!
