We use ours for fractures and leaking margins with old restorations. Insurance likes to have these. I also like to take them for calculus and tissue inflammation. Using with disclosing on children helps with homecare.

I use mine for New Pt Photos. I take over 50 pictures the first visit. My camera also detects cavities with a blue light and biofilm/calculus with a yellow light. It can be used as an education tool for everything dental related. It can also be used during a restoration to document any fractures etc. I basically take a photo of each and every tooth and every single side of each tooth. Pt photo, lips at rest, lips retracted, max arch, mand arch, posterior/anterior biting together, lingual etc….

I use mine as much as possible. I show cracks on teeth, old restorations, white spot lesions and decalcification, calculus…basically anything of concern.
