Operator stool under headrest?

When working on a patient, should the operator stool be underneath the patient’s headrest? I’ve seen different videos where they say not to and others when they say you should. Thanks!

In hygiene school, I was taught not to have the stool under the headrest. The articles I have seen showing proper ergonomics, the operator stool is not under the headrest.
