How much interaction do you really need to have with her? If I were you, I’d just ignore her and go about my daily business. Don’t even talk to her- be civil, say hello and goodbye, and if you have to speak to her for a work-related reason do so, but other than that, just pretend she isn’t even there.
There’s always one person in every office who will make your life difficult!

I have one boss who occasionally will ask me to go over a certain spot again. I don’t really mind.
Question: How long does your doctor take to do the exam? Do he or she go back and scale more? | August 8, 2014
Wow, that is so not your fault, they were totally wrong for not walking you thru the office and showing you how things work. That’s just common courtesy. How were you treated other than that, was the dds and OM nice to you at least?

Whatever you do, don’t be like me! I shied away from it and as a result, have only done it a handful of times and now I just plain old never do it! It’s quite a shame because I feel I’ve lost my skills and would need to take a refresher course before doing it again.

The mask thing is a pet peeve of mine! I would tell them that there is no way on earth that I will not be changing my mask between patients because it clearly states on the mask that it is a SINGLE USE ONLY item and that they only are effective for about one hour before nasty aerosols start penetrating the mask. You must not compromise your health and it’s really not cool that you’re being asked to!
Question: Using same mask all day | July 29, 2014
Yeah, why on earth would he say that, does he really think that! I think that lunch is in order like Sue suggested, lol!

I always put my current employers on the resume. Typically, they won’t just call them without your consent. If you have an interview, just give them a list of people who they CAN call for references and say you’d rather them not contact your current employers just yet.
Question: Current Job on Resume? | July 23, 2014
Yup, what Sue said! You’ll be fine! I know, there’s nothing more nerve-racking than your first day in the real world! But trust me, you’ll be okay.
Question: Recent graduate with real world questions! | July 23, 2014
I’ve been doing this for five years and I still don’t think I’m very good at detecting decay BUT I’m much better than I was when I first started! Experience is the best teacher in this situation I think!
