Selling Handpiece from school

Hi everyone! I just came across my hygiene handpiece from when I was in school. Our school required us to purchase our own. My office doesn’t exactly need it. Did anyone else have to do this ? If so, what did you do with it ? Is there a buyback program or has anyone just sold them online ? Thanks all !!

Yes, my hygiene school had us buy our own handpiece. I would keep it because you never know when you will need a back up, especially because handpieces need to be heat sterilized in between every patient. If you don’t want to keep it, you can sell it on e-bay or a Facebook buy/sell page for dentistry.

I had to buy mine for hygiene school. I have kept them in case I will need them in the future. My current office doesn’t use the same type of handpiece I have, but I am going to keep them just in case. I don’t know what you could sell it for, but my advise would be to keep it just in case.
