Switching Dental Hygiene Programs

I’m thinking about finishing my DH degree at a different school because of unresolved problems with instructors. How can I reach out to students at a different school to get their opinions on the school?

The only way I can think to reach out to students attending a different hygiene program is if you visited the school and spoke to them, or got their contact information. Even if you did this you have to keep in mind that each student’s experience with a program is different. Even if some students rave about a certain program, you may not have that same experience. Sometimes the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

I’m sorry you have unresolved conflict with instructors. Have you tried everything in your power to work through it? I ask because not everyone gets along and there’s conflict everywhere; whether it be at school, at work, or in life in general. It may seem easiest to not face it, but sometimes you have to. I don’t know your situation, but hygiene school is a good place to learn how to resolve conflict before you get into an office.

Whatever you decide, I wish you the best of luck!
