Which Injections for Doctor’s Patients?

I get the doctors patients numb a lot each day, which injections do you typically use for specific procedures (ie: fillings, extractions, RCTs, crown seats)?

Depending on the area I will use different injections. For maxillary fillings I usually infiltrate the specific tooth. If it’s two teeth in the maxillary I will do PSA or ASA (depending on the teeth). For maxillary extractions or crn preps I will do a palatals. For mandibular I will do IA injections with a buccal.

I am with Warner. I infiltrate when I can but if a crown prep, root canal, or extraction is involved I always do a block with infiltration to ensure all of the surrounding tissue is also numb.

I do as Warner does with the exception of mand block. I use Gow Gates.
