AirFloss.. Thoughts, Comments??

Hello DH community. I’m doing a presentation on AirFloss and was wondering if any of you have used/tried it. I would like to know:
1. What are your thoughts about AirFloss?
2. Do you think it’s better than the WaterPik
3. Have you noticed any differences ever since you’ve used it.
Thanks for all your help!

Only have heard from a pt that we bought one for.
My thoughts are: will the point that you push between tooth and embrassure space damage the papilla? I expect recession or a circle worn into the teeth.
Pt liked waterpik better.
Pt didn’t use it more than a couple times.

I used an AirFlosser when it first came out and I was not impressed. I did not like how it felt and I also felt like it would cause damage to the gingival tissue if a patient was not properly instructed on how to use it. I feel like a waterpik does a much better job especially since you can flush out around the teeth and tissue with water and a mixture of mouthwash to water ratio. I did not use the AirFlosser long enough to evaluate how well it did but I did not like it enough to keep using it.
