So I ended up purchasing a jobri off amazon and at first very hesitant considering I was going to be spending 150 for an item that Paterson wanted me to purchase for 800 dollars. I’ve had it for a few days now and I’ve have had great success! I only tested out a very simple saddle from Patterson (not the fancy one for 1500;) and I cant find many differences AND best part was I wasn’t out a bunch of money! Here’s a link to check out amazon…jobri also has a site but not a ton of info on the chair. Good luck! http://www.amazon.com/Ergonomic-Chair-BetterPosture-Saddle-F1465-BK/dp/B003BWS8GC

No. I have the split saddle seat which works better for a man. You have to do your research about seat tilt, how low or high you need the chair to go, how stable the base is etc…
Check out the link. This woman knows dentistry and ergonomics. She helped in my decision to purchase new loupes since my old loupes caused neck and shoulder pain. My new surgitel loupes are fantastic and I am no longer in pain.

Definitely not. I have been researching and trying out different ones this past year. I’m hoping to purchase next year. I really recommend trying out as many as possible because everyone is different. I really like the Queen Anne with memory foam ~$800
Someone mentioned Sally’s beauty supply selling saddle chairs for as little as $65. I really want to try one of those to compare! Good luck

Karissalynn07 good for you. About 10 years ago I bought a split saddle seat from a small unknown company. It’s the same chair as the all the reps brought for me to demo. I paid under $400 for the same chair that reps wanted over $1000. I don’t use it exclusively, but I use it several times a day. I switch back and forth depending on size of pt.

I saw a saddle chair with backrest on Amazon. I’m definitely going to order it. $160ish….. I’ve always thought if only my Sally Split Saddle had a backrest and maybe some arm rests I would be in heaven.
