Best brace for posture?

Any experienced RDH’s out there recommend a good back/shoulder brace you’ve had success w/that’s not uncomfortable?

I spoke with my chiropractor about this and she said that in general, she does not recommend braces. Her reasoning was that if you wear a brace, your muscles begin to depend on it causing atrophy (breakdown). Her recommendation is to build your core and back strength (pilates, yoga, rowing machine, etc.) instead. She added that if you have a brand new injury, a brace may be recommended while the tissue is doing its initial healing, but after that it goes back to building the muscle back up. Of course, this is all in general terms, as I don’t know if or what injury you may have. I would suggest seeing your own chiropractor and discussing your individual needs with them.
