Hi, I just have a question about the dress code for the employees, I know that it it is mandatory to wear closed toe shoes, but would it be allowed for me to wear these shoes without socks like this?

Or would that not be allowed if you were working in the store? I was just wondering because I just prefer to wear them sockless, especially since it’s summer. Does it matter if I don’t wear socks with them? What would happen if I didn’t. I don’t think it would be a huge deal or anything.

In reading the CDC Guidelines for Infection Control in Dental Health-Care Settings, there isn’t a specific guideline on if socks should be worn or sock length. Personally, I wear socks that are long enough to cover exposed skin when I sit and my scrub pants go up. I think its a question of best practices and reducing your exposure as much as you can. I would ask your office manager/employer about the dress code in your office to see what is preferred.
