Can you rinse and drink after fluoride varnish application

We are having a “friendly” debate and I’m wondering if you have any hard facts I can pass along proving its ok to rinse/drink after the application of fluoride varnish. I feel as though my pts can and should be able to while my opposition argues they need to wait 30 mins. I’m struggling to find facts supporting my stand, other than the instructors on the box that clearly states its fine….. are there any research documents to prove either side of this?

Here is a link to a study that states fluoride varnish “sets upon contact with intraoral moisture” and that “patient acceptance (with varnish) is also increased since the required 30 minute wait after fluoride gel administration before eating and drinking is not necessary with fluoride varnish.”

This is all I could find. Research on the effectiveness of fluoride after waiting 30 minutes to eat/drink was all based on foam or gel treatments.
