Chairside Manners

I belong to a comissioned office with 3 other dental hygienist. Keeping your patients loyal and happy has a lot to do with your clinical skills, how knowledgeable you are and the experience you leave your pts with. I work very hard to set myself apart and leave my pts wanting more. What do you do or is known for which is unique to you that keeps your pts requesting you all the time?

I always make little notes in the chart about their family, vacations, or other interesting facts we talked about. When they come back for recall, and I remember something about them, they really feel I took the extra time to listen. It is very impressionable to them. I also always find something to praise them about on their homecare instead of always the negative!
