coworker issues

There is a big issue in my office. The receptionist and billing coordinator are bffs. The billing coordinator has been acting like the office manager and trying to manage me and my schedule (along with the rest of the office) they both suck up to the office manager so he lets them do what they want. I’ve tried just keeping my head down and just do my cleanings..but I feel like this is getting out of hand. Talking to the operations manager and owners of the office seem pointless, nothing really gets resolved and the two in question make your life horrible. I know I need to find another place to work, but it is all part time. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can deal with this better? I’m about at my wits end with these 2.

That’s a tough one. If the owners do not care then there’s not a lot you can do. I think if you can get the other employees together and have a discussion with the owners, OM and the two BFF’s and confront everyone on a respectful level something good may come of it. Do not do it in a confrontational way. Just mention that everyone should work together and get any concerns or hard feelings out on the table.
