This is never professional, I’m so sorry! The question is, has this happened only once or does it happen often? If it has only happened once it may be worth having a quick, private chat with the doctor. I would ask the doctor to please pull you aside, privately, to discuss any issues because doing so in front of a patient undermines you as a clinician and professional, and in turn, reflects poorly on the office/practice (this makes the doctor have “skin in the game.”)
If this happens frequently, the same conversation should be had with the doctor. If things don’t change, this may not be an office you want to work at. I say this because you were put through an interview process and chosen because you were the best fit. If they no longer believe this, it’s best for both you and them to move on. It’s just not worth feeling demeaned at work.
There are typically 1 to 3 markdown codes for one item. Be that as it may, in each request, clients can just utilize one coupon code. Subsequently, when utilizing the coupon code, attempt to choose the best code with the most noteworthy markdown.
Thank you so much, Kara. I appreciate your input and thoughts on this matter. My boss, who was the absolute best, passed away unexpectedly in April. To answer your question, it has happened 4 times in month. This is with a dentist who is temping in our office. I appreciate her helping us out, but do not appreciate that kind of behavior. She will be back in September for a couple of weeks and I will be prepared to visit with her if it continues. I definitely would not continue working with her if this was our permanent replacement. I agree with you. It isn’t worth it feeling like this.

You are most welcome! I'm sorry to hear about your bosses' passing. That's unfortunate this behavior has happened several times. Standing up for yourself is the best thing you can do!
