Dropping off a resume

Should I present my cover letter and resume in an envelope? I plan to visit different offices in my area and drop off my resume, not knowing if they are hiring or not.

Folder for in person and envelope for mailing. There are nice resume sets you can buy at staples type stores.

It doesn’t matter what you are presenting, it’s the way you look and how you present it when you walk into the office. Make sure to take the office business card and write down the name of the person and title of who you spoke with for future contact. Follow up later with a call for the ones you got good feedback from. By doing this, you will keep track of which office is which. Best wishes.

I say folder so it stands out and is protected until the doctor reviews it.
