dry mouth products

Which dry mouth products do you recommend to patients and why? I have a couple of patients in chemo right now and I need some ideas please. Biotene is not available in the country where I live. Thank you!

Patients have told me that they like NeutraSal products and XyliMelts. Here is a link to a good chart on other products that are available: http://www.drymouth.info/consumer/treatmentfordm.asp

Thank you, Kara! I looked at Xylimelts a couple of months ago and they weren`t available in Europe. I looked again today and they now have a European division – my boss said to go ahead and order them for patients! Thank you for the chart – it will definitely come in handy!

MighTeaFlow dry mouth management products are recommended by the dental professionals who have read recent clinical research from the team at Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University (formerly Medical College of Georgia’s Dental school). Green tea and Xylitol combination results in one’s own saliva being increased by up to 400%. Full disclosure I use the MighTeaFlow lozenge and also work for the parent company, Camellix, LLC.
