Those of you who fill in at offices frequently, what percent of income do you save for taxes? Do you write off anything in particular when you file?

Depends on your state requirements. I know that in my state if you make under (I think) $600 from on fill in employer you do not get a 1099 for taxes. If over a certain dollar amount you will be 1099 and have to claim it on taxes. I would check into the IRS website. If you are filling in for several months the employer can take taxes out for you.
