Has anyone bought or heard of the brand Clear Optix for loupes?

I saw them at a convention and liked how they fit, but I can’t find any reviews of them online.

Bad choice. This is a BIG SCAM company with very poor customer service. They sell cheap products and don’t stand behind their products. Do not buy anything from this company. You will lose money and time with this company. They don’t return calls or answer emails.

Just remember……. You get what you pay for. I just ordered from SurgiTel. Bethany with Posturedontics helped me decide what loupes would work best for my neck issues caused by my Design for Vision Loupes. Posturedontics is a ergonomic company for practicing dentistry pain free. Bethany spoke at a local CE Course this past weekend in my hometown. Her company reviews dental products. I recommend signing up for posturedontics news letter and review her reviews on loupes. I made a bad decision 8 years ago when I purchased loupes from Designs for Vision. DfV did help some, but caused other ergonomic issues because the frame size and declination angle was not steep enough. In 3 weeks I hope to notice a tremendous weight being lifted off my shoulders and neck. 8 years ago I spent $1200 on 2.5 TTL Titanium frame…..I should have went with my instincts when the limited ergonomic knowledge I had was MORE than the Designs for Vision salesman. I spent almost twice that amount on my new SurgiTel with a light, but have 45 days to change or reject. I have used Bethany’s recommendation and her company has helped me tremendously over the years. Good luck in your search. Just remember the price of loupes and light should be divided over how many years you plan to work. It’s a very small amount compared to becoming disabled and/or lose your ability to work.
The loupes I ordered: SurgiTel EVC 3.5 Prism with Radar Range Frame in Oakley White. The light: Micro LED Motion Activated Light. I wave my hand in front of the light source to turn it on and off. Yes….it was more expensive than the other light, but I don’t have to reach in my pocket to turn off the light.
I’ll update once I start using my new loupes.
I do know Designs for Vision 2.5 magnification compares to SurgiTel 3.0 magnification. So starting out if you’ve never worn loupes start with the 3.0 from SurgiTel. I went a step up to a prism loupe 3.5. It’s going to take getting used to since I’m going to be even more magnified, but well worth it!!

I had DFV TTL for 8 years……($1200). I had severe pain in neck, shoulders, arms, wrists and hands. Thought I would be disabled soon. At first the DFV helped ergonomics from being able to see better… The Designs for Vision salesman didn’t know much about ergonomics. I trusted him to know how to fit me correctly. Over the years I have done my research and I thnk I’d be better at fitting hygienists for loopes than any of the salesmen I’ve come across over the years.
I’ve recently bought SurgiTel Radar Flip up with motion activated light. Immediately from the first use I noticed all my pain was slowly going away. The new loupes provide a very step declination angle and I even went up in magnification fom DFV 2.5 to a SurgiTel 3.5 magnification. Best $2200 I’ve ever spent. Wish I had SurgiTel from day one. Wish I had thoroughly researched and knew what to look for from day one. I owe my vast knowledge of loupes to Posturedontics.

Clear Optix helped me get the best quality light weight loupes I have ever used and at a low price. It’s owners are very smart and knowledgable with their products. I tried so many loupes out there and they all seemed the same but many had prices I couldn’t afford and no warranty. I liked these loupes very much and believe they’re the best for hygiene

Hello, anyone that is interested in clear Optix should definitely listen to me. I’ve been a hygienist for over 11 years. I have never bought loupes in the past and thought now is the time. I shopped around and tried so many other ones. When I visited their booth they were very friendly, knowledgeable and understanding. I needed something affordable but good and I must say I was very impressed by their products and costs. Since purchasing the loupes and light I have since sent my light back for service as I slammed it hard I was sent a brand new light no questions asked. They worked hard to guarantee me no long wait. Since ordering them now 3 others in my office have them and are very satisfied.
I would recommend them to anyone that needs loupes or a light.
