Have you ever accidentally removed sound enamel from incorrect adaptation of cavitron?

How do you explain it to the patient?

Never have due to improper angulation. However, I have when there is so much cervical third demineralization/decay. Soda mouth/meth mouth type decay.

I have accidentally removed an area of demineralization with a cavitron, just like Hygenius. I’m so glad I’m not the only one. I was mortified. Lesson learned!
