Make an appt with a Periodontist that uses all the latest techinigues and discuss options that are right for your particular needs.

Another cause is grinding and clenching your teeth. If you think this may be happening, a night guard/occlusal guard could slow the recession.

Unfortunately, once the damage has been done, gums don’t grow back. It can be caused by multiple things such as brushing too hard or by plaque (bacteria) causing infection leading to a breakdown in the tissue. Dependent on your condition, a tissue graft is the only “fix.” A periodontist is who you would want to see (like Hygenius suggested) to explain your options.
