I passed my SRTA boards on May 2nd and I graduated May 10th. I take my national/written board June 12th. My instructor gave me this website (https://www.license.dhp.virginia.gov/apply/Forms/Dentistry/DenHyg_InstrForms.pdf) and said I needed to start getting everything ready to submit. Is it okay to create an account now and start sending the paperwork in? It’s asking for form a, score card, transcripts, and a lot more. Also I was offered a job in West Virginia and the dentist told me I would have to take a separate test? I chose Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee to send my scores to. .. Thanks for any help. I feel lost on this whole process.
The link you posted does not make you create an account. This is what is at the link:
INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILING ONLINE APPLICATION FOR LICENSURE BY EXAMINATION OR ENDORSEMENT FOR DENTAL HYGIENISTS
It’s a five page check list and info to apply for your license.
Hope this helps

After re reading your question……
You need to use the check list until you have all info and then submit all at once. You can call the board and ask if you can start an account and turn things in as you get them. I bet you need to wait and submit all at once.
I actually just completed this process for Virginia. I first went to the National Practitioner Data Bank, at http://www.npdb.hrsa.gov/. Click start a self query and follow the directions there. It cost $8. Results will be mailed to you within a week or so. I completed the online application next. That was on the Virginia Board of Dentistry website. I clicked on the online applications link. Then I mailed the following three items: the form A (completed by the school you graduated from), the unopened official transcript from school, and the background check from the National Practitioner Data Bank, via certified mail, to the Board of Dentistry. Your score cards for SRTA and the National Board Exam are automatically mailed to your state of choice. There is also a checklist on the Virginia Board of Dentistry website, at https://www.license.dhp.virginia.gov/apply/Forms/Dentistry/DenHyg_InstrForms.pdf. This lets you know all the needed items. I can’t say what the West Virginia process is, though. Good luck!
