Without knowing your oral health state, the basics are brushing and cleaning in between your teeth daily. You want to brush at a 45 degree angle to your gums, gently, not scrubbing hard, for a full 2 minutes, twice per day. You should clean in between your teeth at least once per day to get the bacteria/plaque dislodged and removed from areas a toothbrush cannot reach. This could be with string floss, floss aides, water flosser, interdental brushes, whichever is best for your situation, that you will actually use. I highly recommend making a dental appointment and having a professional cleaning and personalized home care instructions.
