How to send resumes?

Is it better to hand deliver or email resumes? Also, is it a good idea to attach a picture?

If you find the job position online and the office requests you send your resume via email, then I would send it by email. If you are giving your resume out to random offices in your area, then hand delivering may be best. There are different views on whether you should add a picture. A few would say it adds a personal touch, but some would argue that it sets you up to be judged or not be called in because they don’t like your look, think you are too young, etc. If they want to see what you look like, they will see you at your interview. I would want a potential employer to have interest in me because of my skills and what I have accomplished; adding a picture may take away from the time they spend reading what’s actually on my resume. If you Google, “should you add a picture to your resume” the majority of articles say no.
