Is is a good idea to get dental hygiene liability insurance? If so, are there any recommended companies?

I am insured through Marsh, they have been easy to deal with and it is affordable. This is for my malpractice insurance. 🙂

In school my instructors always recommended liability insurance. I didn’t get it immediately out of school, but wished I had. Then, a year into my hygiene career I was in a car accident (which wasn’t my fault hence I had no control over it) and now I don’t qualify. I do recommend it because the smallest of things can deem you ineligible, so I would get it sooner than later. If you are a member of the ADHA I would check out what companies they are in partnership with. That’s just my opinion though!
