Just hired and found out im expecting how should i professionally respond to an assistant who was asked to take xrays for me.

i was just hired and a week before i started i find out im pregnant. I told the office on my first day and I asked them what their protocol is. The supervisor congratulated me and told me the only concern is taking xrays and she will talk to me later. Later in the day after talkingto the doctor she told me that the assistant will take radiographs for me. But this assistant has been telling me that i should be ok taking xrays. And he keeps telling me this every time i work. Also the button doesnt look like its 6 feet away from the cone. Maybe around 5 feet. Or a little less. How should i deal with him?
Also theres only a buttonbehind the wall to take xrays no springy cord that can go as far as you want

If the supervisor said the assistant will be taking radiographs for you, then as an employee, the dental assistant should do what is asked of them. I would bring up the issue with the supervisor because its their position to make sure employees are doing what they need to do or have been asked to do. Best of luck!
