We are possibly thinking of moving from TX to GA. I have already looked into what it will take to transfer my license, but I am unsure of how to start my job search. I know this must sound silly, but I have never been in this position of looking for a position out of state. I have tried finding temp agencies in GA, but have not found anything online. So in everyone else’s experience should I first get my GA license and apply for jobs online or move then apply?? What has worked best for everyone else? Thanks so much!

If it were me, I would begin the licensing process now – you can’t do a working interview until your license is secure. I would wait until I moved (or wait right up to your move) to apply for jobs because what happens if they call you in for an interview, but you are out of state and can’t go? You could always explain your situation in your cover letter, but many offices probably need to find someone sooner than later and may not be willing to wait. I did a Google search for “dental temp agencies Georgia” and quite a few came up. Temp agencies are a great way to get your foot in the door with offices especially when you are new to an area. Good luck!
