Nomad portable x-ray reviews

Have any of you ever worked with the Nomad portable handheld X-ray system? If so, how did you like it? Was it easy to store and was it too heavy? Thanks in advance.

I’ve seen it, held it, asked questions about it. A DA friend said she loves it……it is heavy especially after what we as hygienists put our bodies through everyday. It is a great tool, but not sure that great taking an FMX several times a day along with all the other radiographs we take.

I love it! Been using for about two years. I place the sensor with right hand and cradle the nomad in my left arm, then grab with rt for shot. With gaggers it’s nice because you can click the trigger before placing sensor so it’s ready right away. Some patients have said they feel more comfortable because we aren’t “running away” to take X-rays lol

Also, fmx in about 5 minutes. For real, and yes it’s diagnostic!
