NY to WI

Does anyone know how to get a license from Ny to Wisconsin? Anyone know the process? I work for American dental partners and I know there are offices I could possibly transfer to. We will know this month if we need to move so I need to figure it out asap!

You’ll need to apply for your Wisconsin state license, unfortunately licenses don’t transfer from state to state. You also have to take the Wisconsin jurisprudence test and provide the state with your boards and clinical test scores. Hope this helps! Get in contact with the local WDHA rep. for the area you’re planning to move to

I believe you just contact the agency you took the exams through and have them sent to the state, or to yourself, and send them in with your application. But the agency you took them through should be able to and know who exactly to send them to. But don’t quote me on that. I can get your in touch with one of my instructors from hygiene school who could answer your questions if any come up (I used to live in Wisconsin)
