Overlapping bitewing x rays

Does anyone have a good solution on how not overlap maxillary molar digital bitewings ? I tried putting the sensor closer to the middle of mouth and coming in a little medial with the cone, but sometimes it still overlaps. Mandibular molars come out fine ! Thanks
