I worked in an office that had these units, and I found the same thing to be true, even with only the slightest amount of pressure. I was the only hygienist, but the doctor would also do cleanings sometimes. I noticed that he kept his on a much lower setting than mine, but I always felt like it didn’t perform well at lower settings. And it seemed liked they needed frequent repair. Not a huge fan.
