Scaling tips?

I always feel like I’m using digital motion instead of the hand-wrist motion when scaling the linguals of upper left. I’ve tried having the patient tilt their chin up and look slightly away but it still feels awkward to me.

Any advice?

Utilize the ultrasonic/piezo more. When hand scaling use extra oral fulcrums as needed.

I sit slightly more towards the middle position and that seems to help me.
