Sharps container contents

Do Blunt needle tips, such as the ones used at the end of irrigation syringes, need to to be placed in the sharps container?

Anything that can potentially puncture skin is considered a “sharp.” So, yes, irrigation needles should be disposed of in a sharps container.

I agree with Kara, I also place the tips used for sealants into my sharps container. Better safe than sorry.
