I really don’t know where to start. I have my resume and personal info cards ready. I am still waiting to take my state clinical exam (CITA) next month. Other than that and my license I am ready to start working. I want to start dropping my resume off at some offices but I don’t know what to say. If I do get a interview or a job offer then what if I get a second interview or offer? Too much to worry about. Any help or words of wisdom appreciated.
I was hired at an office before I received my scores on Wreb and the national board exam. I had taken both, but was waiting for the results. Point is….the office knew that once I found out and got a temp license then I would start work. Most are willing to take a chance and wait with you. If I hadn’t passed….they would have had to look for another hygienist. Most are very flexible if they think you would be a good for their practice. Good luck!! Welcome to the real world. You are going to be a great hygienist.
