Sub calculus

I am not removing sub calculus effectively like I should be. It is radiographically evident and I am not getting it. I have all the tools and sharp I instruments. What am I doing wrong. It’s not because of lack of effort. Where should I turn for help?? I don’t feel comfortable asking another Hygienist in my office. I feel like I should be doing much better at this. I am wondering where can I turn as far as a refresher course or some clinical help.

If you want a hands-on type course I would check into conferences, workshops, or study groups in your area. Your local ADHA component might have CEs for instrumentation too. You could also check out Youtube for instrumentation technique videos. Hygiene Edge (http://www.hygieneedge.com/) has some good videos too. You could also reach out to a former instructor or classmate that you trust to help you with your technique. I applaud you for looking for answers to get some help!
