Transferring license

My gf just got here rdh license in California. She now wants to get licensed in New York State. Will she have to take national boards again and clinical test? Thank you

She might need to take a clinical exam if the one she took for California isn’t accepted for New York. If she takes a look at the New York Board of Dentistry website, it will show what she needs to do to become licensed there and what exams they accept.

I looked at the site its vague. Say something about 2 years experience. She doesn’t have that so I assume she’ll have to take clinical and possible boards again. Guess I’ll have to call up.

I still don’t understand after looking at the website. Does she just need to take the clinical exam or both 2 years experience and clinical exam? Any help would be appreciate. I’m getting nowhere calling nys dental
