What exactly is D4341 and D4342?

I’m really confused about D4341 and D4342. What do they mean? What’s the difference between them and with SRP? When should I use them? I work in 2 offices and none of them use these codes.

D4341 is periodontal scaling and root planing (SRP): four or more teeth per quadrant.
D4342 periodontal scaling and root planing (SRP): One to three teeth per quadrant.
The difference is how many teeth you scale and root plane in each quad: 4 teeth or more as opposed to 1-3 teeth.
