What type of cleaning?

What type of a cleaning would you do on a NP that has 2-3 mm pockets but CAL/recession, bone loss on x-rays but light plaque/calc LA & BOS?

I would call the patient’s insurance and see if they have previously had SRPs. If so, this can be billed as perio maint. The perio may be stable, but with clinical attachment loss present, I see perio maint as appropriate. Remember a prophy is a preventive procedure; here it seems that you are trying to keep the perio stable.
