I can’t speak for 100% of all dental offices, however, every office I’ve worked at allows a patient to choose which hygienist they want to see (if there is more than one hygienist). The front desk (who schedules) would let a patient know if the hygienist the patient wanted to see wasn’t available the day they wanted to come in. In my experience, once a patient was seen by a certain hygienist, they would be rescheduled with the same hygienist unless the patient requested otherwise. All you have to do is ask which hygienist you are seeing.
