Working Interview

I had an interview at an office & am now going back next week for a working interview. During the interview I was not showed their computer system, equipment or really told anything about how the office runs. I am debating on asking to come in and just observe for a few hours before my working interview to get a feel for how things would go. But I’m not sure if this looks bad or not for the hiring process?

I don’t think observing before your working interview to get a feel for the office is a bad idea at all! I think it may also show the office that you have genuine interest. Now if the office doesn’t feel this way, they will simply say no, but it doesn’t hurt to ask. Best of luck!

I’ve shadowed at several offices before doing working interviews. It’s nice to know how their day runs & where everything is kept. Most places will allow it, just ask!
