Wrist pain

Having pain in my wrists daily! Not my hand or fingers, just my wrist! I have been a hygienist since 2003, full time and this has just become a problem! I’m not sure if this is a common problem so I’m asking, has anyone else has had this problem and what type doctor should I consult with? It doesn’t bother me when scaling so I’m confused!

I had wrist pain. It’s much better since I threw out my old DVF TTL Loupes and bought SurgiTel Loupes with light. I also wear a wrist timer that keeps my wrist from over flexing. When cleaning some areas we bend our wrists to far out of habit. I bought the wrist timer from Posturedontics. My wrists pop and crack, but the new loupes took the forward head tilt away putting pressure on my neck and shoulders and then when my shoulders were tired the muscles in my arms and wrist would take over. I see a PT for Dry Needling. Still see the PT every three months, but not as many muscle knots and overall I’m a completely different person with the new loupes. Google dry needling. It’s a form of acupuncture.
